Welcome to the Pensacola Police Department. We are excited to be able to share with you a little bit of information about this department and its employees.

Since its inception in 1821, the Pensacola Police Department has continued to grow not only in personnel but also in technology, training and outreach efforts.

We pride ourselves on our reputation in this community and do our best to ensure and uphold the law for every citizen.

I strongly believe, and try to instill the same philosophy in others, that it is by working together that we can make Pensacola an even better place in which to live.

We invite input and questions from the public at any time, particularly through "Pensacola Police Live," a 30-minute live call-in show airing at 4:30 p.m.  every other Thursday on BLAB TV. The show features a variety of personnel from the Pensacola Police Department who do their best to help the public understand a little bit more about the department and how it works.

One more way we can work together is through the internet where prompt feedback is often available.
