Carl Reeves is the department's Police Neighborhood Liaison.

Before being hired by the Pensacola Police Department, Mr. Reeves was the senior chaplain for the Florida Department of Corrections at the Santa Rosa Correctional Institution and Annex in Milton. He attended Florida A&M University in Tallahassee where he earned a bachelor of science degree in political science / public management and minored in psychology.

Among his duties are to serve as liaison between the police department, other City of Pensacola departments and neighborhood groups; meet with neighborhood and tenant associations to promote citizen involvement in neighborhood issues, and strive to enhance police and community relations. He also will assist in preparing and submitting federal and state grant applications.
